Our chapter's leadership team for SY 2026-2027

Lena Ciganer-Albeniz
Chief Executive Officer

Lena Ciganer-Albeniz is a sophomore from Tokyo studying economics and foreign languages (Spanish and Italian dual) at CMC. She serves as SWS’s Chief Executive Officer. This past summer she worked at Paris-based private equity firm Ardian’s Japan office as an Investor Relations intern. Outside of SWS, she is a Handley Leadership Fellow, ASCMC’s AAA Chair, a CMC Conversations podcast host, and an I-Connect Mentor. Her favorite places she has traveled to are Oman and Rome, and Turkey is at the top of her bucket list.

Arundhati Sathish
Chief Financial Officer

Arundhati (Anu) Sathish is a sophomore from Bangalore studying Economics and Literature. She currently serves as SWS’s Chief Financial Officer. This summer, she worked as a Summer Analyst at a Technology Venture Capital firm, Chiratae Ventures, in Bangalore. Outside of SWS, she is an analyst in the CMC Student Investment Fund, and is involved with Scholars of Finance, Girls into VC, RLCIE and I-Connect. Anu loves hiking, photography, and cataloging her favourite albums!

Uma Bastodkar
Chief Marketing Officer

Uma Bastodkar is a sophomore at CMC from Minneapolis studying Economics & History with a sequence in Data Science. She serves as the SWS’s Chief Marketing officer. This past summer, she interned at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Direct Investing as a Business & Financial Analyst in Toronto. Outside of SWS, she is a political consultant for Path, training manager for CMC’s MUN team, and designs clothing for Claremont Apparel for Claremont Women in Business. Uma loves baking for her friends, learning new instruments and making pinterest boards.

Elise Chin
Co-Chief Development Officer

Elise Chin is a junior, studying Economics and Psychology at CMC. She serves as SWS’s Co-Chief Development Officer. This past summer, she worked at a global consulting firm, Connexus Strategy, in Tokyo, Japan. Outside of SWS, she is a researcher at the STATS Lab, the VP for the College Programming Board, and is an APAM mentor. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts and grabbing meals with friends.

Summer Matsik
Co-Chief Development Officer

Summer Matsik is a junior at Claremont McKenna College studying Economics with a Data Science Sequence. She currently serves as SWS’s Co-Chief Development Officer. This past summer, Summer interned in Sales & Trading at JonesTrading in Charleston, South Carolina. Outside of SWS, she is a member of the women’s varsity lacrosse team and Claremont Women in Business, and holds leadership positions in the Claremont Private Equity Group and Sports Business Club. In her free time, Summer enjoys spending time outdoors and trying new restaurants.

The Claremont Mckenna College SWS Chapter was founded last year by a group of ambitious and successful female leaders. Our Alumni Executive Board are dedicated to continuously helping our foster professional and personal growth as we create a long lasting community.
